We made this record at Mike's home. Built in 1859, we wanted to use different rooms and spaces the house had to offer. Some songs are older and have evolved with the full band. Others are new, as we continue to draw inspiration from family, manual labor and each other. Attempting to stay true to the hummable, Mike harkens back to his earliest memories of being in the backseat and singing along with Bread, Christopher Cross, America. Songs are catapulted from summer camp to ghost towns and come to rest in the driveway. Enjoy.
